Terms of Use
Effective Date: June 12, 2026
These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") stipulate the conditions for using the Football IQ Board (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"). Users of this Service (hereinafter referred to as "Users") are required to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
Article 1 (Application)
- These Terms shall apply to all relationships concerning the use of the Service between the User and the operator of the Service.
- In addition to these Terms, the operator may establish various rules regarding the use of the Service (hereinafter referred to as "Individual Regulations"). These Individual Regulations, regardless of their name, shall constitute a part of these Terms.
Article 2 (Registration and Account)
- Registration for the Service is completed when the applicant agrees to these Terms, applies for registration by the method specified by the operator, and the operator approves it.
- Users shall appropriately manage the information registered upon use, such as email addresses (hereinafter referred to as "Account Information"), at their own responsibility.
- Guest users using the PWA (browser version) acknowledge in advance the risk of data loss due to device cache clearing. Account registration (linking an email address) is mandatory for data preservation.
Article 3 (Fees and Payment)
- Payment for paid plans (Personal License, Team License, etc.) shall be made through an external payment platform such as Gumroad, which acts as the Merchant of Record.
- Users may only share the "Team ID and Password" issued under a Team License with members belonging to the same team (players, coaches, etc.). Sharing with third parties outside the team is strictly prohibited.
- Due to the nature of digital content, we cannot issue refunds or cancellations for paid fees under any circumstances.
Article 4 (Prohibited Acts)
Users must not engage in the following acts when using the Service:
- Acts that violate laws and regulations or public order and morals
- Acts related to criminal activities
- Acts that infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights contained in the Service
- Acts of commercially secondary-using the information obtained through the Service
- Acts that destroy or interfere with the functions of the server or network of the Service
- Acts of publishing the "Team ID and Password" of a Team License on SNS or other platforms where unspecified numbers of people can view them
- Acts of making or attempting unauthorized access
- Acts of collecting or accumulating personal information regarding other users
- Acts of impersonating other users
- Acts of directly or indirectly providing benefits to anti-social forces in connection with our services
- Other acts that the operator deems inappropriate
Article 5 (Suspension of Service Provision, etc.)
- The operator may suspend or interrupt the provision of all or part of the Service without prior notice to the User if the operator determines that any of the following grounds exist:
- When performing maintenance inspection or updating of computer systems related to the Service
- When provision of the Service becomes difficult due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning strikes, fires, power outages, or natural disasters
- When computers or communication lines stop due to an accident
- When the operator otherwise determines that the provision of the Service is difficult
- The operator shall not be liable for any disadvantage or damage suffered by Users or third parties due to the suspension or interruption of the provision of the Service.
Article 6 (Restriction of Use and Cancellation of Registration)
- The operator may restrict the use of all or part of the Service to a User, or cancel the User's registration, without prior notice if the User falls under any of the following:
- Violates any provision of these Terms
- If it is found that there is a false fact in the registered matters
- Default in payment obligations such as fees
- When the operator otherwise deems the use of the Service to be inappropriate
- The operator shall not be liable for any damage caused to the User by actions taken by the operator based on this Article.
Article 7 (Withdrawal and Cancellation)
Users may withdraw from the Service by following the withdrawal procedures specified by the operator (or by canceling the subscription on the payment platform). After cancellation, the use of the Service (premium features) will be suspended from the next billing date.
Article 8 (Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability)
- The operator does not guarantee, either expressly or implicitly, that the Service is free from factual or legal defects (including defects relating to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, security, errors or bugs, infringement of rights, etc.).
- The operator assumes no responsibility for any damages (including the loss of created tactic data, etc.) caused to the User arising from the Service.
- The operator is not responsible for any transactions, communications, or disputes that occur between the User and other users or third parties in connection with the Service.
- Payment processing for the Service is outsourced to external platforms (such as Gumroad). Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the operator, the operator assumes no responsibility for payment troubles such as credit card information management, double billing, or troubles accompanying subscription cancellation. Problems regarding payments shall be resolved between the User and the platform in accordance with the platform's terms of use.
Article 9 (Handling of Intellectual Property Rights)
- The intellectual property rights of the tactic data (animations, placement diagrams, etc.) created by the User using the Service belong to the User themselves.
- However, to the extent necessary to display, share, and synchronize such data on the system, the User grants the operator a free and non-exclusive license to use the data (reproduction, public transmission, adaptation, etc.).
Article 10 (Changes to Service Content, etc.)
The operator may change the contents of the Service or discontinue the provision of the Service without notifying the User, and shall not be liable for any damage caused to the User thereby.
Article 11 (Changes to Terms of Use)
The operator may change these Terms at any time without notifying the User if deemed necessary. If the User starts using the Service after a change to these Terms, the User shall be deemed to have agreed to the modified Terms.
Article 12 (Handling of Personal Information)
The handling of personal information obtained through the use of the Service shall be in accordance with the "Privacy Policy" separately established by the operator.
Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
- In interpreting these Terms, Japanese law shall be the governing law.
- In the event of a dispute regarding the Service, the Kanazawa District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction of the first instance.
