Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 12, 2026
Football IQ Board (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") establishes the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the conditions of use of the services provided on this Service and the handling of Users' personal information.
Article 1 (Definition of Personal Information)
"Personal Information" refers to "Personal Information" as defined in the Personal Information Protection Act of Japan, which means information relating to a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, and other descriptions contained in such information, as well as information that can identify a specific individual from such information alone (personal identification information) such as physical appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and health insurance card numbers.
Article 2 (Method of Collection and Management of Information)
- Account Information: The Service uses cloud databases (such as Supabase) and collects email addresses for User login authentication and account management. Authentication information such as login passwords is irreversibly hashed and stored, and the operator never directly knows the passwords.
- Payment Information: Payment processing related to billing for subscriptions, etc., is conducted through an external payment platform (such as Gumroad). We do not hold or manage your direct payment information, such as credit card numbers. However, we do acquire purchase information (such as the email address used and the purchased plan) provided by the payment platform to confirm the granting of licenses.
Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)
The purposes for which the Service collects and uses personal information are as follows:
- For login authentication and account management for the Service
- To provide functions for saving, synchronizing, and sharing tactic data and team information among team members
- For authentication of license keys, confirmation of subscription status, and management of functional limitations (e.g., removing save limits)
- To respond to inquiries from Users (including verifying identity)
- To contact Users as necessary, such as for maintenance or important notices
- To identify Users who violate the Terms of Use or attempt to use the Service for fraudulent or unjust purposes, and to refuse their use
Article 4 (Deletion of Data and Specifications upon Withdrawal)
- Account Deletion (Withdrawal): Users can completely delete their account (withdraw) at any time from the settings screen within the Service.
- Cascade Deletion upon Representative's Data Deletion: If a team's representative (Primary Owner) withdraws from the service, due to the system's database specifications (ON DELETE CASCADE), the "Team" created by the representative and "all tactic data of all members linked to the team" will be completely and physically erased immediately and in an unrecoverable manner. Users agree to this specification in advance.
Article 5 (Use of Access Analysis Tools, etc.)
The Service may use access analysis tools such as Google Analytics to understand usage status and improve the Service. In doing so, anonymous traffic data may be collected using cookies or similar technologies, but this data is collected anonymously and does not identify individuals. Users can refuse data collection by disabling cookies in their browser settings.
Article 6 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The operator will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the User, except in the following cases. However, this excludes cases permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.
- When it is necessary for the protection of a person's life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
- When there is a request for disclosure from public authorities such as courts or police based on laws and regulations
- When the minimum necessary information is coordinated with outsourced services in order to perform payment processing (such as Gumroad) or infrastructure provision (such as Supabase)
Article 7 (Disclosure, Correction, and Suspension of Use of Personal Information)
When the operator is requested by the individual to disclose, correct, or suspend the use of their personal information, the operator will respond to it without delay after confirming the individual's identity. However, if there is a reason why the operator cannot respond, such as based on laws and regulations, the operator will notify the individual to that effect.
Article 8 (Changes to Privacy Policy)
- The contents of this Policy may be changed without notifying the User, except for matters otherwise provided in laws and regulations or this Policy.
- If there are significant changes, we will notify you within the Service. The revised Policy will take effect from the time it is announced.
